Unit Problem - only registering shots half the time

Does this mean that mats like the true strik pe (I think that's what it's called) are not recommended since the hitting part moves a but to simulate a divot ?

I've had my Skytrak for awhile now and been hitting off a stance mat. Was looking at buying a true strike. The true strike would be independent of the stance mat. I was told there are 2 screw holes that I can anchor the mat to a sheet of plywood that I have under my stance mat too.

Any thoughts?

I have this SKLZ Divot mat and i have it integrated into my stance mat (4x4 basic non name mat). I use foam exercise tiles to build it up 1" high and cut out and area to fit the SKLZ mat. It then sits flush in the stance mat and looks nice and still have the give of a divot mat. As long as my ST unit is separate from the stance mat (i'm on unfinished basement floors that are cement slippery) it doesn't appear to care that the divot mat moves after the strike.

Since Upgrading to the 2.2.2 for both the PC and IPAD I have had the issue with it only registering about every other shot, I have tried both the PC and Ipad version as well as Direct connect and network mode with the same issue all around. I dont recall this happening in the earlier releases but it is getting frustrating and besides re-setting the Skytrak which I have now done Twice not sure what else to do..
any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated

I hard this issue a while back, I placed the ball inside the red dot (i.e. closer to the Skytrak Unit) and it seem to work.
