  • Should I buy a Skytrak system?

Have been reading about different systems and have been most interested in Skytrak. I am a bit hesitant as there seems to be different issues and constant new products ect. I have an outdoor set up that I hit balls into...a 10" X 10' X 10 ' golf net. I do NOT have the option to hit indoors. I live in the Northeast so in the winter will not be able to use. This unit will be a portable setup that I can use with my golf net. I am most interested in practicing golf shots but would like to also be able to play a course if I wanted but not a deal breaker if I could not.
Just wondering if anyone has input as to what would be the best option/system for me ? I am a bit concerned about all the updates that have to be issued to fix bugs in the system. I understand with any new products there are things that need to be worked out. Is there any compelling reason to wait? Will the hardware have to be changed out? Would like to have a system that can be expanded on and not become obsolete. I noticed that there was a sale that sold Skytrak and a swing analyzer together. Are these systems incorporated some how or will be down the road? Any input or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks.

I'm just wondering if anybody knows, does Flightscope, Trackman, GC2 or any other sim have syncing ability to store and save data?

There seems to be huge issue with people on this front. Chill out, this is a $2,000US Launch Monitor. There are bugs, yes they rushed to market with some of the features, but my synching has worked from day 1.

For those who can't sync...........do you have a skygolf 360 account?
Does your skytrak show up in that account.

When entering your ssid and password, it has to be exact and must be on your home network.

If anyone wants help, PM, I'd be happy to assist. Skytrak is a great product but has challenges in fixing bugs.

The inovators are the ones who persevere, the losers just quit.

Ok golfnut2, just sent you PM. Hopefully you can help me get my unit to sync - as Seth or SkyGolf support have been unable to help me so far (Seth mentions he's backed up with many other users experiencing same issues/problems as me). Thanks.

Hi all...just found this forum and so stoked! I'am a 7 handicap and have been just using a Swingbyte and ES12...just sold it (ES12). Looking to upgrade to realistic data, ball flight and distance. I wants to pull the trigger for a Skytrak for a month...not a lot of reviews online...what are your impressions of all the data Skytrak delivers? The sync issue seems to be a big issue and I've read there working on it! I very interested due to the cost of Skytrak. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Pros and cons.

NVONEPUT, It's a great LM for the price. I have both loved and hated it. If you buy one, SkyTrak will give you a 30 day return. So you can see if you like it. I still have mine. You will need a late model Ipad.
