  • Skytrak app won't connect

    Hopefully someone can assist me. I'm trying to connect to the skytrak app through direct mode. This has worked fine in the past but admittedly I haven't tried it in awhile. I usually just use TGC2019 when practicing/playing. I can connect just fine to the Skytrak TGC Interface and play/practice with no issues. When I open the Skytrac app, it logs me in, I pick my profile and it just says not connected. It doesn't even appear to try to connect. Any help is appreciated.

    Hello Jb - In the task manager on your pc, are you disconnecting the TGC2019 connection? If TGC2019 is running in the backgorund, you will not be able to connect to the SkyTrak app.

      Normally you can't just close TGC2019, you have to also close the green/red shield on the task bar. Just right click and close.

        Perfectly said. Anytime you are using TGC and want to go back to the SkyTrak app, you must close the green TGC connection in the taskbar!

          Thanks for the responses. I found the answer last night. It was a little strange. I had to download Microsoft Visual 2012 64 bit. The strange part to me is it was already on my PC. I uninstalled it and reinstalled from microsoft and the Skytrak app connected right away. To answer your above suggestions, TGC2019 was most definitely closed. I closed it in the shield and I even did a restart of the PC.
