  • Considering SkyTrak for Back Yard Setup -- Seeking Advice

Hello All, I just posted a similar note in the Welcome Forum, but wanted to post here, as well. Am considering a SkyTrak for my basic back yard setup -- area is fully shaded 75% of the year. Looking for basic data -- launch trajectory, spin rates and distance calculation. Would like to sync data to a basic driving range simulation using PC or iPad. Happy to build little 'platform' to align launch monitor to tee height and directionally. I move the mat closer to and further from the net depending on clubs (wedges vs. long irons / driver, etc.) What more can I share? I've been researching SkyTrak and like the price point, but would consider Bushell / Foresight if value was there. Thanks! -Mike

I use my Skytrak nearly everyday and love it. However, I use it exclusively indoors. You may have to provide something to shield the Skytrak form sunlight, from what I have read here on the forum sunlight tends to be an issue.

Thanks -- after a ton more research I'm leaning toward a used or re-furbed GC2. I'll make a decison and post results shortly.
