  • SkyTrak App v4.3 Official Release

    Hi All,

    As you may have seen, we performed a major systems transition over to the new GOLFTEC servers last night. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible, but there will certainly be issues as we work through this transition. You should be prompted with an upgrade to v4.3, but you can also download the new software below. Please be patient with us as we get the kinks sorted out, but we hope to move forward quickly and are excited to deliver you new and exciting features in the coming weeks and months with the all new SkyTrak experience.
    V4.3 Release notes:
    • Added logic for transitioning to GOLFTEC servers
    • Enhanced security
    • Improved local database migration during upgrade
    • Fixed connection issues with Android 11 and newer
    • Fixed club/bag synchronization issues
    • Fixed membership/licensing issues
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements

        My game improvement plan got changed automatically to Basic plan and I am seeing other people's account information when I click my account in the website! and the worst is when I dial the support number, no one picks up, and when I wrote an email to skytrak support, they pushed me directly to golftec, what a chaotic transfer!

        Ticket created, I am wondering if there is anything changed for the plan, my GIP all by a sudden dropped to base and guess what, I can still access the wedge matrix and the challenges and can still change the session settings and connecting to my sim without issue; and please please address the user session issue, today when I open my account on skytrak website, it directly opened someone else's account and I can see all his info, I can even purchase a plan on behalf of him! that is scary, wondering if someone did the same to my account so mine got downgraded?

          Skytrak has been working just fine in the cold and wet days here in the UK - but today it forced me to upgrade to 4.3 (something that I didn't want to do).

          Now it forces me to change my password (something I don't want to do) and it asks me for my "EST" - I don't know what that is.

          I'm now endlessly prompted to change my password and nothing works.

          The "new and exciting features" seem to be..................I can't use Skytrak any more

            Howdy! I just ran into the endless password update issue. After you update your password, you need to use your new password and login to the SkyTrak website. Once you do so, you’ll see a note that says your password update has been completed. You can then login after connecting to your SkyTrak.

            thanks Anansi - I tried that but it just said "verify your account" repeatedly. I couldn't log in. Then after starting the ST app again I just got back to the endless "reset password" issue. I had hoped that "ESN" was my serial number but apparently not - nothing works. It's something else maybe?

            OK Anansi thanks again - I seem to have fixed the problem now though I'm not quite sure how.

            LOL I looked at my profile and it now says "United Kingdom is not a valid country". Bad news for Rory I guess!

          I am unable to sign in while using an iPad and connecting direct. It will allow me to get to the driving range and I get the red dot. But it says it cannot verify my user name and password.

          So, I decided to sign on using my desktop computer. I first tried to connect via USB, but the computer wouldn’t detect it. So I connected the computer direct to the skytrak through the skytrak Wi-Fi. That actually worked and allowed me to sign in without getting the message that it didn’t recognize my ID and password.

          I figured that would fix it so I could sign in when using iPad in direct mode. But I was wrong. Still can get the driving range and the red light. But can’t sign in.

            I'm also experiencing difficulties and messaged you individually. I don't have socials but have people attempted to tag their instagram and Twitter to assist in a timely fashion to get it all sorted

              For folks having trouble with the password change and signin after the update:

              Step One: Open the SkyTrak APP and attempt to sign in. The APP will prompt you to install the updated version. Install it. Once installed, open the updated APP and attempt to sign in. The APP will prompt you to update your password.

              Step Two: The APP will display a pop up that opens a web browser. The browser will display a webpage that prompts you to change your password on the SkyTrak WEBSITE. Change your password as prompted on the WEBSITE.

              Step Three - IMPORTANT:
              In order to complete your password change, you need to sign in using your new password on the SkyTrak WEBSITE. Do not attempt to sign into the APP. You must sign into the WEBSITE first, or the system will not complete your password change. If you try to sign into the APP the system will return you to Step Two. Once you sign into the WEBSITE, you will see a pop up. That pop up will say that your password change has been completed.

              Step Four:
              Sign into the SkyTrak app. The APP will not show you the password change pop up, and you can proceed as usual.

                Maybe not a fix for everybody but it worked for me. After you download and install the update, follow the instructions (link below) to delete the Skytrak Local Low files. Open the Skytrak app and you should be taken to a GOLFTEC screen to accept new terms. You might need to change your password at the Skytrak website, your new one needs to have a special character. I believe by deleting the Local Low Skytrak files, it deletes your original password, and allows you to sign in with the new one. Open the Skytrak app and sign in with your new password.

                    SkyTrak_Jordan did you get my message about the phone number calling a completely differint number if you call it? My tgc still works can I avoid upgrading so it doesn't mess it up or do I need to upgrade

                      Has anyone else had an issue with logging in. I have a current ticket in, started yesterday, and so far have had no answers as to why the app will not let me log in. I have updated, changed my password multiple times, and when attempting to log in on the same page that states my password change is complete I get a “Your credentials are incorrect” message. Just wondering if I am the only one having this issue. Thanks

                        Yup same here. System has to be crashing after Golftec merg with the new website. I’ve done exactly what you have done, I have ticket in Ave I phoned in, waiting on a call back. Brutal!

                      Yes Tignpooh8 I can't login. I'm waiting for the password reset email to show up. Is anyone else waiting for the password reset to come back.

                      UPDATE: Dan from Skytrak managed to reset my password and I think I am up and running now. The website asked me to reset a second time for some reason but in the end it looks like it is working.

                      I will get the email, it even says my password has changed, but when I attempt to log in, to the app or the website, it says my credentials are incorrect. A ticket has been started but so far even the people working on it can't seem to successfully log in after changing the password. Yes it is.
