  • SkyTrak App v4.3 Official Release

    Hi All,

    As you may have seen, we performed a major systems transition over to the new GOLFTEC servers last night. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible, but there will certainly be issues as we work through this transition. You should be prompted with an upgrade to v4.3, but you can also download the new software below. Please be patient with us as we get the kinks sorted out, but we hope to move forward quickly and are excited to deliver you new and exciting features in the coming weeks and months with the all new SkyTrak experience.
    V4.3 Release notes:
    • Added logic for transitioning to GOLFTEC servers
    • Enhanced security
    • Improved local database migration during upgrade
    • Fixed connection issues with Android 11 and newer
    • Fixed club/bag synchronization issues
    • Fixed membership/licensing issues
    • Miscellaneous bug fixes and improvements

    Anybody having any issues logging into the SkyGolf360 (https://sg360.skygolf.com/) ... this is where you can review your data, away from the skytrak app .. but when I try to login, with my new reset password (after 4.3 update), says incorrect username.password

      I don't think that exists anymore for Skytrak users since they now moved to Golftec's servers. I get a link to the new servers when I try to login in to 360.

    OK I seem to have gotten through the update smoothly. Look forward to playing in a bit.

      downloaded the update and skytrak works on pc but nothing will launch for tgc2019. pretty ridiculous that they push these updates and ruin your ability to use your sim software

        Having the same issue. I log into Skytrak but when I try to open up TGC 2019 it tries to connect and then shuts down. Skytrak is there any reason this would be occurring?

      I'm seeing the same issue as Sfarrell16. After finally getting SkyTrak 4.3.0 to update and run, now when I try to run TGC 2019, the SkyTrak interface crashes after a few seconds. Anyone else seeing this issue?

        Same thing here. It just started on me last night with TGC. I can use the Skytrak app, but when launching the TGC interface software, it crashes in about 5 seconds. Tried for a few hours to get ahold of Skytrak support with no response. A little relieved to know I am not the only one and its not just something on my end.

      I have a skytrak and TGC19 as well and i had the exact same issues last night with my PC connection (i dont use my phone to connect). I sat on hold 3x with skytrak for them to have the recording tell me i was on hold too long and to leave a message with no response. I also tried their chat as they suggested - no response. I reached out to Protee to see what they suggest. In the process of trying a bunch of different trouble shooting idea, i lost the tgc19 and skytrak box connection interface. I dont know if i need to uninstall everything and reinstall it? I am waiting for protee to respond to my service request. Either way, not the best look for skytrak and golftec with this forced upgrade causing a number issues for everyone.

        I am also having the same issues with skytrak and tgc 2019 closing right when it connects. I’ve re-installed everything and tried it all. I had friends come from several hours away for a sim golf day and we got bamboozled😔

            This solution worked for me so guess I’ll just be logging in via the beta version until further notice.

          I also used the method in the link and it worked. In a nutshell, you'll be downloading a beta version of the TGC SkyTrak interface and using that to discover and connect to your SkyTrak unit. I'm not sure if this is a temporary fix or if this is "the way" going forward, but it does work.

            I am beyond annoyed with this situation, I've followed all the suggested fixes and my passwords still wont let me sign in and use the system. I've spent hours uninstalling, installing following links and I've got £20K of equipment sitting there like a dead donkey cos it wont work. What sort of upgrade is this, my system had work flawlessly for over a year AND NOW ITS TOAST.

              Same issues with the update. I can't log in...its trying, but just freezes up. I can get in as a guest user, but then have to readjust my range with the offset. Already deleted the hidden files per their troubleshooting. what next SkyTrak_Jordan ? thx...

                Hey all, I’ve updated my skytrak, deleted the app and reinstated it, changed my password, but skytrak wont read a shot, red light is on, blinks off and on again every so often, but wont read anything. Any ideas, as I can’t get hold of any customer support without an extremely long wait…..

                  I am having the same issue. I did the update and it worked for a while, but now the new beta interface says that I am connected but the top red light on the sky trak is lit or all three lights are green but the laser is not on....aka...it does not work. It will open to the golf courses but can not register any shots. My Sky Trak software is working fine, it is TGC 2019 that will not work.

                    Regarding TGC, there was a backend API issue that affected the licensing system at the end of last week that we were able to resolve within about 1 day of it being first reported. TGC was able to release a beta interface in this time that also addressed the problem. So now, you should be good to go whether you are using your regular TGC interface or the beta.

                      I am continuing to have the same issue. Sky Trak is working fine. I can not get TGC to connect. Regardless of whether I use the Beta interface or the old interface the connection is lost as soon as TGC 2019 begins to open or it is never made at all. Both interfaces claim that Sky Trak is connected but it is not. In the box at the bottom of the Beta interface it says that the GIP is not valid and expired in 1969. My TGC console says that I have an up to date and active license. A post in the TGC section of this forum suggested that I should start my Sky Trak after opening the interface. That has the same result. I have sent a ticket to both Sky Trak and ProTee. ProTee said to contact Sky Trak that there is a known connection issue. I have not heard from Sky Trak since I put my ticket in 3 days ago. Can you help Sky Trak Seth? Is there a system problem?

                        So it sounds like the TGC license is fine. The problem seems to be with your GIP (at least in TGC). In the SkyTrak app, you have access to all GIP features? If so, please PM me your username, email, and serial number (REE******). I'll see if I can get that sorted for you.
