  • SkyTrak App v4.3 Official Release

    Hi All,

    As you may have seen, we performed a major systems transition over to the new GOLFTEC servers last night. Our goal is to make this as seamless as possible, but there will certainly be issues as we work through this transition. You should be prompted with an upgrade to v4.3, but you can also download the new software below. Please be patient with us as we get the kinks sorted out, but we hope to move forward quickly and are excited to deliver you new and exciting features in the coming weeks and months with the all new SkyTrak experience.
    V4.3 Release notes:
    • Added logic for transitioning to GOLFTEC servers
    • Enhanced security
    • Improved local database migration during upgrade
    • Fixed connection issues with Android 11 and newer
    • Fixed club/bag synchronization issues
    • Fixed membership/licensing issues

    SpeedRacer5, I haven't gotten any PM yet (I may be having troubles with my inbox), but Jordan reached out to me with your serial. Your GIP is set correctly. You also have TGC one-time purchase and TGC yearly subscription set (which I'm not sure how that happened but it should be double sure to be working!) Now that I have all the info, I'll get with TGC on this and see if we can figure out what is going on.

      @SkyTrak Seth, Thank you for the response. I just played a round on TGC 2019, but it is still acting funny. It is clearly a problem with TGC recognizing my GIP. I sent a screen shot of the message at the bottom of the Beta to Jordan by PM. Essentially it says my GIP is expired and expired in 1969. When I got it to work today it had my expiration date the same as the expiration of my SkyTrak subscription, Nov. 26, 2023. It is odd how TGC began to function correctly again. I first opened SkyTrak, which would not fully open because it said that my 30 day subscription had expired. I closed it. Reopened Skytrak, which then opened normally. I closed SkyTrak and opened TGC and it ran fine....until the 17th hole of Pebble Beach. It disconnected. I tried to reconnect and it said my GIP was expired in 1969. I closed TGC. Went back and opened SkyTrak, having to go through the steps described above. TGC then opened properly and I finished my last two holes. I have no idea what will happen later if I try to play.
      That happened to me just before TGC completely stopped connecting 5 days ago. I hope that this information helps to get to the bottom of the issue.

        I able to logon successfully. Just a few problems, program just locked when I went into shot history. Shut down and reset now OK. You can not export CSV files only PDF for shot history. Skytrak 360 no longer has shot history data. My Game section of Skytrak website has some of your data like skills assessment/practice data, but no complete listing of shot data. Both problems have been confirmed by Skytrak (Golftec). Use the chat box for best service, never heard back from email tech support and phone calls hold times are more than I am willing to wait. Chat box was fast even though all they did was confirm the problem and said they were working on it. I appreciate the candor, nothing is worse than "Oh we haven't seen that before"

          SpeedRacer5, I'd like to see what happens if you remove/re-attach your TGC license.

          1. Open the TGC Sim Interface
          2. Click on 'Settings'
          3. Copy the entire License Key
          4. Click Deactivate (should clear out the License Key)
          5. Paste the License Key back into the relevant box, click Activate. Launch TGC​

            Barnegx , thanks for the post! Yeah, data will no longer be available in SkyGolf360 - however, it is all being stored on GOLFTEC servers now. We will have a new portal for you to view your data online shortly. I had the same thing happen with my shot history in the app and I finally realized I had just not given it enough time to sync after a fresh install. Just leave the app open connected to internet for 5-20 minutes (depending on how much shot data you have - I have a ton).

            Also, I have the .CSV export bug noted and that will be taken care of in the next release.

              SkyTrak_Seth, I have reloaded the license in both the original interface and the Beta/console. I am still having the same problem. Sometimes opening SkyTrak as descibed above will help, but that is unreliable.
