    Network Mode Connection issues.

Anyone have tips on getting the Skytrak unit connected to network mode? The unit just gets stuck in a loop when it's found the my router signal.
The center led flashes yellow signifying the signal is found. The only way to clear this loop is to hard reset it. I've tried the following:
    1) Changing Network Password from my router (no special characters)
    2) Removing Network security password from my router.
    3) Connecting to a completely different router. (Tried three different routers)
    4) Connecting Via "Hot Spot"
    5) Removing protective metal case.
    6) Using different Connection Devices (ie: Laptop, Phone, Ipad)
    7) Disconnecting all devices connected to my routers 2G signal.
    Multiple Skytrak hard resets.
    9) Multiple Router resets.
    10) Verifying Correct WPA router settings.
The unit is less than 10ft away from my router.
    I appreciate the help.

On a side note, Is WGT an app that can only be played in Network Mode? At times I am able to play. Sometimes it does so with out any prompts, other times it will prompt to "continue cellular use.

    Thanks,
    Rich

My understanding is if the middle light is flashing yellow, it is searching for a network connection. When it is solid yellow, it has found a connection. If I remember correctly, I had to set it up in Direct Mode first, to connect the Skytrak to your network. Then you can connect to Network Mode. If you have a dual band router, have you tried disabling your 5.0 GHz and only running 2.4 GHz? Skytak likes the 2.4.

rrsilver Have you been able to connect to your network but are losing the connection or is this still your first attempt at connecting?

I had some similar issues when I first got my skytrak and had to spend some time on a customer support call while re-doing things I had already tried, but my magic sauce in the end was
      1. Network Name renamed to be 11 characters or less, no special characters
      2. Network Password updated to also be 11 characters or less, no special characters (no network wizards working at skytrak I guess)
      3. Connect in Direct Mode
      4. Manually enter network name and password as scanning for the network never found it
      5. Security mode selected was WPA Mixed or whatever it's called
Ever since then (and putting a mesh network node in the garage) I've had no problems with reconnecting and minimal disconnects. The only way other than the hard reset to get your skytrak out of that connecting loop, as recommended by the person on the support call, is to TAKE THE SKYTRAK OUT OF RANGE OF THE NETWORK. I couldn't believe it, like I'm supposed to walk it down the street. Of course the same is achieved by unplugging your router but then you're waiting for the internet to come back online every time you try.

1/5 stars for setup, but ever since then (aside from the current putting issue) it's been a great unit for me.
