E6 Connect "Device not authorized" with SkyTrak

  • E6 Connect "Device not authorized" with SkyTrak

    Please help! I have a SkyTrak with the Game Improvement Package. I downloaded the E6 Connect Demo, but when I try to use it, I get a message saying "Device not authorized. Please contact SkyTrak support". On the SkyTrak portal my GIP shows as active. On the E6 portal, my demo license shows as active. Even in the E6 software, when I connect my SkyTrak, it shows "SkyTrak_GIP: Valid". Both SkyTrak support and E6 support tell me everything is active and good to go on our side, please contact the other side. Has anyone encountered this issue before?

    Hi cpinz. Just wondering if you resolved this. I have the message. Only difference is that I have an e6 subscription. Was working fine a few months ago. (Have not used it for a while). Turned it on last night and got the message device not authorised. Let me know what you figured out. Cheers.

      I have the same exact problem, and support said they are working on a patch to fix it.
      but I think it’s got something to do with the announcement today of E6 being included in the play and improve package.

            Contact skytrak support via chat or phone. They fixed my with a temporary patch/fix. There was an issue with E6 latest update.

              Just received this same message today. My skytrak membership and e6 subscription are both good. Waiting for a reply to my chat request for tech support from skytrak.
