SkyTrak Software Version 4.4 is available now for all SkyTrak users (club data is specific to SkyTrak+ users). To update to the latest version of software visit https://www.skytrakgolf.com/downloads or visit the App Store on your mobile device.

When I 1st entered the range with the new software (on my original SkyTrak) I had the new 'analyzer' panel that you could open which allows you to see the shot analyzer data and ball flight at the same time.

When I went back in later to actually hit it was gone and I assume what I saw was a glitch that's only available for the SkyTrack+

In the future are we going to get that panel with the shot analyzer data for the original skytrak?

Big thumbs down to whichever annoying person who decided the modify the licensing code in this version - this screwing up my E6 sub. Wasted Sunday afternoon.

Anyone having issues with the ST disconnecting or claiming that the usb connection is disabled, after the new update? I’m having to restart the software after about 10-15 shots?? Due to disconnection error?

My ST is very unstable after in the install. Many disconnections and the lag time for shots can be 10-15 seconds for the ones that work. I am going to play around with it again tonight. A step by step for the upgrade install would be great for those of us who are not that tech savvy.

Same. I quickly downgraded back to v4.3. When it did work, it was nice that v4.4 software was faster in several respects, but horribly buggy in connecting and staying connected. In summary: terrible quality control.

Same here, happens quite frequently since 4.4 I have to exit the range session, power cycle the SkyTrak, and then start a new range session.

Any idea why I can't get a brand new Samsung S23 to Direct Connect to the SkyTrak?

Using home network can login to the Skytrak site, and from within the app can login to see the green box of my profile.
Turn on SkyTrak
2 Reds, One Green (bottom)
Change my sifi connection on S23 to Skytrakxxxxxxxxxx
App says 'looking for connection', then 'Checking License Files', then 'not connected' (in red), then goes back to looking for connection

I seem to be following all steps but getting nowhere.
It's a used unit from someone else, and he has transferred his license to his new SkyTrak+, but surely the basic $0 firmware, software and access should still work.

Where am I going wrong (or is it a known Android problem)?

Jordan, Why would the shot optimizer tab for ball data only not be usable for original Skytrak? Instead we still need to toggle between range and shot optimizer. This seems like a simple GUI change that the Skytrak hardware is already doing but legacy users are locked out of the new view because we don’t want to drop more money on Skytrak+. It would nice if they supported the legacy customers as well

we have had some conversations about adding the Shot Optimizer table for SkyTrak og in future releases. Nothing is set in stone!

Look in your PC’s Downloads folder. You might still have it in there. Uninstall 4.4 and install 4.3. I had success with that and won’t be reinstalling 4.4 anytime soon.
