Oh boy....I dont want to mess you up but the drill that worked for me was setting up in ball contact position with shaft forward, hips turned, weight on front leg feeling pretty exaggerated and just taking half shots. Arms no more than parallel to the ground on backswing. Taught me where my body, weight and hands should be at contact. Funny thing is you can almost reach full distance.Last edited by OttawaP; 11-24-2023, 11:22 PM.

I also used to feel like everything was swinging towards the target. Hands, body etc. Now I try to feel my hands/body working their way left and up as the club head swings through the ball. I'm a 9 HC so take my advice for what its worth...basically nothing.

Thanks for sharing; all of this makes sense. I'm sure I'd get the lower flight with practice and patience but I know I'd go backwards for a spell and have signed up to winter league. I might not do winter league next year and work on getting the flight down. Strangely though, I've just started using pro v1s on the st+ and my launch is showing much lower than normal, getting 28 with pw, which is VERY unusual for me, so I'm not convinced of the accuracy. If the pro v ball has magically reduced my flight then I'd buy bucket loads of em, regardless of price lol.

I got mine around 5 weeks ago. Used it for 1 week had constant mis reads of spin and club data. Unit returned and replaced with a new one yesterday. Exactly the same. Spin , path and face are all over the place. So inconsistent. I know what my numbers are from years of LM use but with skytrak plus there all over the place. Wedges spin low and cause carry to be to long . Long irons spin high and carry short. The amount the spin numbers change shot to shot is really bad. Same for path and face. Ive hit shots on the range and the balls are landing next to each other, but the skytrak has them way out.
at times it does pick up accurately but its hard to trust any of the numbers if you want to use it as a tool to practice with. All these issue can be fixed through software but it could take years to fix.

Just got my skytrak+ this week and have the same inconsistent/inaccurate data. I feel like I've been playing 'figure out how to get accurate data' more than playing something fun on the unit. If I took the numbers I'm getting right now, I'd be 20-30 years over every green. I just can't seem to figure it out and so far I'm disappointed.

Firstly, I would ensure the unit is aligned properly. Start by hitting small chip shots on the driving range to align your unit. The crazy spin numbers sound like the mat might be causing some interference. A quick test is to hit shots off a small tee and then compare the ball speeds, spin, and carry to see if things improve.

Maybe check your setup I haven't seen that. On the driving range on the plus my spin is normally between yellow and green which is comparing it to tour specs. the ball fly and distance is very much on point for both my wife and I.Originally posted by Steven Gerrard View PostI got mine around 5 weeks ago.
