SkyTrak and WGT

Hi all,

I have seen many people asking about skytrak and WTG and it seems like that the people who are beta testing TGC and E6 have never
played or tested WTG. It seems like nobody in this forum has tested it. There is no videos ... nothing. But from what I keep hearing
skytrak is coming out with WTG first...? Is there anybody who has some more detailed info or talked to somebody who tested it ?
I'm only interested cause I'm pretty sure it will be the cheapest of all versions and to test it out it would be that big of an investment.
I own a skytrak since about 5 month and can't wait for course play. The problem is I'm on the road a lot so I will not be able to play
on a regular basis. That's why TGC ,even that it seems to be the best choice, doesn't make much sense if it's going to be a monthly
prescription. Really hope to get some infos or even videos about skytrak with WTG.

Again last night WGT would hang after clicking continue, later it also through up a low memory condition - even though WGT was the only app running. Ipad mini2.
My wireless is dedicated to skytrak/ipad. My internet is 75mb fiber.
Anyone else seen this hanging? Mentioning it here for beta feedback really.

Yep, I've had the same problem too. I just keep WGT running in the background and it connects instantaneously.

But this is mid-game not at the start so when you complete a hole and you press continue to progress to the next hole.. this is when I hear the click of the button but screen becomes unresponsive, I have to kill the app and restart it the I can resume from where I was.

Been having similar problems here too - disconnects randomly, cannot reconnect so need to kill app and restart.

all the lights stay green on the skytrak so I don't think I'm seeing a communication disconnect just the app freezes.

I had the same issue last night, but figured it was just my internet or wifi signal. Maybe it was something on their end or on the app.

I have played WTG on my tablet quiet a bit before skytrak and there was days and times where the game would "freeze" for even minutes and showed "reconnecting" or "shot being solved.... It looked for me like in the peak times there server could not quiet keep up.

I asked this question the other day but haven't seen a response so I'm just going to toss it out again: Are you folks able to play 18 holes of golf or is it just "challenges". I have my Skytrak linked to the WGT app and able to hit shots but my only option for game play is the closest to the pin challenges. It sounds like some of you are playing full game play so I'm wondering if I'm missing something. Thanks for the help.

To my knowledge this is all in a beta phase and courses have not been released.

It's jus the challenges for now... It's beta and free for now. The full game will be subscription based.

yep having problem with" loading photo" or " shot getting resolved" at random. WGT worked perfectly first day but having these minor issues after update. Im assuming its server side problem with wgt. Im also getting ads pop up at the bottom which was not there first day

I am getting the feeling that the SkyTrak_Seth box is not handling Wi-Fi networks that include range extenders in them (like repeaters). When you look closely at networks with these devices you see multiple SSIDs with the same name. This may be confusing some network devices to look and reacquire the best signal.

I am going to set up a dedicated Wi-Fi network for the Skytrak to see if this helps.

Nah they definately were not there before update
