SkyTrak and WGT

Hi all,

I have seen many people asking about skytrak and WTG and it seems like that the people who are beta testing TGC and E6 have never
played or tested WTG. It seems like nobody in this forum has tested it. There is no videos ... nothing. But from what I keep hearing
skytrak is coming out with WTG first...? Is there anybody who has some more detailed info or talked to somebody who tested it ?
I'm only interested cause I'm pretty sure it will be the cheapest of all versions and to test it out it would be that big of an investment.
I own a skytrak since about 5 month and can't wait for course play. The problem is I'm on the road a lot so I will not be able to play
on a regular basis. That's why TGC ,even that it seems to be the best choice, doesn't make much sense if it's going to be a monthly
prescription. Really hope to get some infos or even videos about skytrak with WTG.

Actually there customer service has been quite good. If you do an online assistance they help you with your problem and resolve it very quickly (regarding assistance with activating and linking your account with your device). Very quick. No complaints there.

Seth has gone above and beyond assisting everyone, answering questions in this forum, which isn't even part of his job.

The company Skytrak has actually done quite a lot in this last year. You need to understand backend on how development and release works. But look what they have done. They fixed distance issues with irons in one of their releases. They have given everyone a PC App that everyone wanted. They have integrated putting now with the new firmware. They have integrated Skytrak to work with not one, not two, but three simulator softwares (WGT, E6, and soon release TGC). Now that's ALOT!

If you understand how the development world works and release dates. They have actually been working their butts off this year with everything they have done and released.

Again. You received everything that was promised in the original GIP (Challenges and Settings). You realize almost anything you pay for right now, all the companies have Price Subject to Change in their agreements and clauses. So don't get stuck on thinking that Skytrak owes you anything just because you spent $99 as an early adopter. I'm happy to continue paying the GIP so the company can keep growing and not go under.

Can anyone here still complain after realizing everything they have done in this last year for "You" the customer. I'm not. I'm going to enjoy a great device that now allows me to golf in my home for a very affordable cost.

Now that some of you are up and playing full WGT can anybody confirm or deny the earlier rumors that WGT doesn't allow local multiplayer? I know it's impossible to please everybody, especially at a low price point, but I sure hope multiplayer is available! I'd love to play with my kids or have my buddies over. I love my Skytrak but this will probably dictate whether or not I add the WGT package so I appreciate the info!

Three Putt Pars - Here are the issues I see with WGT:

1) After hitting a drive, all shots hit from a slight side angle and not true 1st person. This is really bad. Don't like that one bit!

2) And here is the big deal breaker for me. It doesn't allow multiple local golfers, only you playing. So you can't have your friends come over and play together.

Hoping they add multiple players soon! But that part is on WGT and probably not Skytrak.

Otherwise playing WGT is a lot of fun! Very accurate, the realistic images of the course look very good!

100% agree with you on Seth, he has gone above and beyond. I disagree with you on the online chat. The are under trained and under informed about their product or how to alleviate issues. They are getting better though.
The product has improved, I don't have an issue with the product as I said earlier. Yes I realize they have been working on their software but since you laid it out so nicely, remember we had it from the beginning when it did have all of the flaws and alot of people from this community forum were supporting the company by helping them find the issues and contribute to those fixes you say we should be thankful for. It was a win win for both sides.

I did receive everything I paid for, you are correct. And to be clear what I paid for apparently doesn't even exist because I never paid for a subscription, I paid for a unlock to the features which I thought would be unlocked forever.
There was no subject to change clause in anything I purchased or agreed to, and "price" subject to change vs "product"subject to changed are very different things. I paid for one thing but am being given another.

I truly think that Skytrak is a great product and feel like I'm being a downer here, but I'm just a person that wants to receive what is agreed to and paid for, not ask for apples and be given oranges and just told to shut up and eat and be happy I have anything at all.

When all is said and done I'll be getting the sim options but just want to know what options I have.

So I have the game improvement subscription how do I get theWGT Closest-to-the-Hole Challenge on
WGT Kiawah Island Ocean Course to work? It's locked out for me.

Ditto. I have never been able to access WGT and I also paid for and activated the GIP.

Not sure about playing the WGT Challenges with only GIP. I now have the WGT Play package.

Before I got WGT Play package, first I had to open the Skytrak App (not PC app). Then connect to Skytrak. Then fully CLOSE the Skytrak App (Close by swiping off screen). Then open WGT. Then go into Profile/Options and Turn Skyrak ON. Then it should let you play the challenges. That was before the WGT Play release. So not sure if the Challenges are blocked now or not. Maybe delete WGT app and reinstall it.

When I purchased the $199 GIP + WGT Game Play package. At first it wouldn't connect. Then I went back and logged into my Skytrak account online on Skygolf site.
I clicked Account.
Then bottom left screen I clicked Renew Membership.
Then I clicked Apply Membership to Skycaddie Device (I know, it said Skycaddie. Just do it).
Then it said my device was activated and was able to play WGT full courses.

So make sure under your account it says GIP with Play, and not just GIP.

I heard from Seth regarding my GIP issues and problems syncing but it is 11pm in NY and have not received a coupon for my $99 credit. Has everyone that had ordered GIP when they purchased their Skytrak received their coupon for WGT?

Guys, if I contacted you directly yesterday, then your email should be going out this morning. If I wasn't in direct contact with you, then your email should have already been sent yesterday. Please make sure you are checking the same email address that you created your SkyGolf 360 account with when you purchased. And check your junk mail. If you've done both of those and still no email, then just contact support and they can get you sorted.

If you have GIP + WGT and can't access WGT, make sure you have synced your data in the SkyTrak app (this is so it can pull down your subscription/license info). Then connect the SkyTrak unit to the SkyTrak app and it will go through the license check. After that, your unit should be good to go and will unlock WGT.

My iPad updated the skytrak app this morning and now I no longer has access to the game improvement part of the app. It keeps giving me a 15 day day to register error message. It's registered and the website shows I have the package activated. Do I need to contact support to fix this?

Hi Seth, contacted customer support for 2nd time in regards to discount coupon and they gave me same answer "WGT is not available in New Zealand" which is not the question i asked for a reply to . I have sent on your skytrak page proof of my GiP purchase , my email is : *** thanks

Why are some users getting 100.00 off and I am offered 50.00 off. Seems really unfair for all the early adaptors who prepaid in October 2015 and had to wait till December for the product. We need to be the ones who should be taken care of!!!

I purchased GIP with demo unit 2 weeks ago. Chat line customer service told me I would get a code that gives me credit for the GIP so I can purchase WGT. Was told I would have email by end of the day. Didn't get the email.
