  • Connecting to a projector or monitor

I would suggest skipping the AirPlay and connect directly with the Apple AV HDMI adapter.

This will reduce the lag and strain on your device and network.

With upcoming PC connectivity in the next week or 2 as mentioned by Seth it would be worthwhile to wait for that or spend 50 bucks on the Lightning to hdmi if impatient. I have looked at that as well but personally find it a waste of 50 bucks

I have both the lightning to HDMI and apple tv (I use airply/mirror)

Going to test if there is any quicker processing. ipad mini 2 is 3 - 4 secs.

      UPDATE:

Same delay with lightning to HDMI

I happened to have one already. I agree that the price is pretty steep. But I don't own any PCs that I want to dedicate to the setup I love the fact that I can just hook up my phone or iPad and go.

Hey guys, I added a monitor to my setup (was just using a projector) and the monitor is an older monitor. the max resolution is 1440x? Now my projector will only go that high. How can I set it to let the projector use 1920x 1080 and the monitor use its max?

How are you connecting to the 2 display devices? Are you using an HDMI Splitter?

When the PC version is launched, I'd expect that we would be connecting the SkyTrak to the PC via USB, is that correct (instead of wi-fi)?

My biggest question is how to display the output on a TV or projector from the PC. I have a set up where my video card has a second HDMi output which I would run to a TV for watching media on a full size screen. This worked fine on Windows 8.1. With the switch to Windows 10, it no longer works. I can mirror what I see on the computer monitor on my TV but I no longer get sound.

Does anyone know how to use a second HDMi output (to a TV or projector) on Windows 10. I'd prefer to use the Tv/Projector as a second screen, as opposed to mirroring what's on my PC Monitor. I want to make sure that I have all the right cords and everything up and running prior to the PC version launch.

There's a setup under your video card settings. Google it, you'll find your answers

I just plug my computer into my TV via hdmi cable and use that as my monitor. I mess with the resolution to get it looking just right. I didn't bother using a monitor at all. @lov2golf is right with google. All the problems I encounter google solved
