Skytrak+ Direct Mode not visible in Windows

I have an unusual problem which I can't seem to solve with my Skytrak+, and wondered if anyone else had seen anything similar.

My Skytrak+ has been working flawlessly in Network Mode, attached to a dedicated (Windows 11) PC.

I recently upgraded my home Wi-Fi setup (Deco Mesh System - working very well, with a strong signal throughout my property and into the garden/garage) and therefore needed to reconnect the Skytrak to the PC. This should be easy: turn on the Skytrak, connect to the Direct Mode wifi signal, and then setup the network connection for home wifi.

But, in Windows when I look for the Skytrak WiFi, it's not there in the list. My own WiFi signal is listed, as are those of some of my neighbours, but the Skytrak isn't shown.

If I look on my Android phone or my iPad, it's there (and I went through setup on the iPad and got Direct Mode and then reset to my home network without issues).

On my Windows PC, I've tried all of the hints and tips I can find to show all networks (e.g. resetting the Network Adapter, deleting the driver and reinstalling, resetting the TCP/IP stack etc etc), but always get the same result. The only other clue I have is that on the PC it lists an 'Unknown Network' which is not shown on my other devices. I've tried connecting to this, inputting the SSID for Direct Mode which I got from the iPad and the 'skytrakplus' password, but I get the response 'unable to connect to the network'.

I'm able to get the Skytrak+ working on the Windows PC in USB mode, and I guess I could just stick with that, but it's frustrating to not be able to get it working the same way I've had it in the past (both with my current Skytrak+, and for many years with the original Skytrak!).

SOLVED (I've kept here in case others have a similar problem): I went out to the shops and bought a new Network WiFi Adapter card and installed it in the PC. Once the drivers were up to date, I could see the Skytrak+ Direct WiFi SSID. My previous card must have been on the fritz - it could see some networks just not others which were 'new' to it. Hope this helps somebody.
