Had my skytrak+ for under a year (10 months). Was working half decent, had misreads as usual. Then all of a sudden it disconnected and only a single blue led light would show on the power (usually the power/wifi/check mark would all light up).
I call support and they gave me the weirdest advice which was power it on, then run down the street out of wifi range. It did nothing. Then support said I had to send the unit in.
Problem is I'm out of warranty range (6 month warranty on a $4700 CAD product). And I live in Canada so I'm expected to pay shipping to USA, repair fee, and likely duties when they ship it back.
What ticks me off is that support basically said it wasn't a user error. It's a firmware issue (thus manufactures fault). And yet they can't cover for the repair.
Big joke considering this was $4700 CAD with taxes. For anyone considering this device. Don't buy it. Get the new Eye lite mini.
