Hello, yes, if you don't want to add on the courses, you can still access the latest 5.0 release. Please note that this initial release is available for PC only. Additionally, if you have the Essential plan (formerly known as the Game Improvement plan), you will have access to the new improvement ranges! Currently, it is limited to local multiplayer only. But online multiplayer is definitely on the roadmap for course play.

Yes, this is available for the original SkyTrak unit. Keep in mind, this initial release is PC only.

Is course design in the works? Like TGC 2019 and GSPRO this would be a real game changer.

Relative to the new Skytrak Course Play.... I just had an interesting chat session with Skytrak regarding the Course Play. Looks like the $220 that they want for Course Play will only cover the first 30 courses. They do plan to provide additional courses, but the indication was that the additional courses would be additional cost beyond the $220 currently being charged. Maybe Skytrak_Jordan can help confirm or deny this ?

That is correct. In addition to the Essential plan, the Course Play add-on is $220. I'm not sure about any additional courses being added in the future, but we are planning to improve our current Course Play option along with our new improvement ranges in future updates.

Question for SkyTrak_Jordan, any time frame on the the next update on V5. Looking for additional features on the course play i.e. match play, scramble, shorter tees most of the courses now are over 6000 yards too far for ladies and juniors.
