  • Are the Sktrak+ Path Numbers accurate??

See attached 8i shot from the other day on my ST+.

The flight is a tight baby draw that lands 1yd off line but the club path (10.5 in to out) seems really excessive for such a tight draw.

So, is the ST+ calculating this shot correctly OR is the Face to Path (4.4 Left) cancelling out enough of the out to in path to create this shot?

Another reason for my question is that we use Trackman at my lessons and I’m been consistently swinging 3 degrees in to out there, resulting in a similar tight draw, so now I'm wondering how accurate these ST+ path numbers are.

I know ST+ is a consumer level LM and nothing close to Trackman, but for my own sanity, should I just ignore the path numbers and focus on the shot tracer results??

According to this youtuber who BTW is normally very critical on reviews says the Skytrak plus is very accurate and compared it side by side to trackman. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKsU-5f0rMk

Impact location plays an important part regarding the spin axis of the ball. More so with woods than irons but the physics is still there. A heel strike can help straighten the ball flight on a shot that would normally hook. I would not get into the comparisons against other launch monitors unless they are measuring the same shot.

Mine is pretty accurate compared to the flightscope.

pretty sure the club data is calculated not measured. meaning the club data isn't going to be as accurate as the ball data.
