There have been many cases of this and many different reasons for happening(read the threads). Altitude not set right. Indoor vs. outdoor swings. Those are the two main causes. I personally do have the same issue on the apple ap. But in testing TGC my distances (after adjusting the boost) are spot on with every club in my bag. E6 was also spot on after adjusting the altitude in the E6 software. PG has no such adjustment and from what I was told the altitude was being adjusted according to the course you were playing. How that happens I have no idea. But I was short on all clubs using PG on every course I tested.
Goodmatt, you'll find a bunch of posts on distance being off, and what the causes may be. Personally I've validated that it's just my swing indoors vs outdoors. Needed to jump a mental hurdle, especially with the driver. You'll find a lot of good commentary on this issue. Good luck!
Hoosier... Where do I find Perfect Golf for simulation?
It was one of the software I tested. It's most likely going to be in the offering coming out soon. But I am not sure if it will make it. We found a pretty big hurdle and not sure if they will release prior to fixing that or not.
If you think WGT is cool, better cinch down the seat belts one more click. You ain't seen nothing yet.
I am curious, from what I seen in the video's it looks like they just post a photo on the screen and then project a ball streak on to it along with a waving flag. But nothing else on the screen moves. Then they move to another photo and let you hit your second shot.
