Hey all, It’s been almost 3 years to the day since I used my SkyTrak. We bought a 13 acre estate that I’ve been working on ever since. I’ve finally got to the point I can set up the SkyTrak monitor again that was purchased early 2021. I’ve got a beautiful 1,500 SQFT outbuilding that I’m gonna use 1/3 of, concrete floor that I’ll carpet with ceilings just high enough I think. My little 15 X 20 something outbuilding the forum helped me set up last time was really awesome. This huge space is gonna be something else!
I plugged in the monitor and did a software update. Then I got to “membership”😳 Wow…what is the most common way y’all are going on this? Looks like the minimum you can pay is $129 with ann extra $220 or $120 depending on how many E6 courses you want to add. Seems like I did the E6 but switched to GC or whatever it was. The one issue is internet. The building where the sim will go is out of reach and not sure I can get a booster that will reach out there. I can do Starlink but that’s pretty pricey per month. I might be able to use my phone as a hotspot. The alternative is to bring the computer back to the house on occasion for an update. Don’t know about loading courses without internet.
