Is there a minimum RAM for a Ipad needed to run the SkyTrak or do I need a hotrod? Thanks

There are no RAM options for an IPad just buy the newest version with at least 32gb of storage

Go on the skytrak website and read the FAQ.

I asked the same question last week. I then looked at the specs and saw the processor and graphics is 2X's faster on the Ipad AIR 2 vs Ipad AIR. I picked up a 64gb Air 2 on Craigslist for $250. The delay was my concern and I can confirm that it is insignificant with the Air 2 in direct mode. In Network mode it is dependent on bandwidth.....meaning if Netflix is running on the same network, it will get laggy.

I did see the SkyTrak FAQ but I didn't see a recommendation for memory size... just Models they tested... Thanks for the help!

SkyTrak requires 3D graphics support. The following passed compatibility testing:

• iPad Air
• iPad Air 2
• iPad Mini 2 (with Retina Display)
• iPad Mini 3
