SkyTrak Hardware Battery Indicator - working correctly?

Mine maxes out at 71%. Hope they fix in next release - either that or we all got bad batteries.

Yeah, I think it is an issue with the indicator, not the battery itself. We are working on it...actually to squeeze in v2.1.

Using the formal PC version 2.1, there is still an issue with the battery level indicator. After a full charge, the "new" battery indicator still shows approximately 70% charge. In Version 2.1, there is no longer a number value, just an Icon. Issue reported with the battery level isn't fixed in the latest software update.... PC V2.1

Skytrak....can you clarify your comment regarding my question on the battery indicator bug, that you posted in the iOS 2.1.1 update thread? You said the software bug was fixed, but you're still working on the hardware side and that the battery should perform as it should.

It's an issue with hardware and not software? Battery, circuit board? How could the battery still be performing as it should if it's hardware and not just software reporting accurate levels?
A hardware issue would seem difficult to remedy....with all the units out. What would the process be?

Bumping really old thread. Noticed that my battery maxes at 75% when charging. I have v 3.3.2 and firmware 1.7. Anyone still have this problem with the battery indicator? I remember in the past my skytrak used to go to 100%, but don't remember what version my skytrak was at the time.

Interesting.... I don't have the same problem as Jtangm04 but I do have the same issue as the old thread... Critical battery warning everytime I start the skytrak. I've tried every mode and have to restart a dozen or more times before it finally kicks in (and reads 100% by the way once it finally connects). Figured I'd bump this thread as well since they want me to send in the unit for repairs. Same version and firmware. Any help appreciated.
