Ipad's native output is 4:3, but you can stretch or zoom to a 16:9. -
What are you going to be running it on? iPad is 4:3 but PC or iPhone will have a much wider aspect ratio. Personally, I'd go for wide unless you are using a projector.Comment

Ah, I would probably just go for 4:3 then. AFAIK, you can't send iPad to a wider ratio (without stretching it). But I've been wrong before

I believe your right.. I tried to go bigger then 4:3 with my iPad mini / iPad air 2, doesn't seem to work. 4:3 fills my screen perfect bigger and I lose 1-1.5 feet on each sideComment

For starters, I wouldn't base a setup that you are going to have for awhile on the iPad. Most of the software coming out for the SkyTrak will be on PC and that is what you want to run it on. So from that standpoint you base your screen size on your width available. If you have say a 10 foot width, you will want to use 4:3 so your screen will be at least 7'6" high. If you have say 13'4" or more feet in width, you can use 16:9 apsect ratio and you have at least a 7'6" screen height. Don't use a rectangle. It looks bad.Comment

Any one using the the Optoma gt1080. I have a ten by ten screen and am wondering if I can run this projector in 4:3 ratio with the iPad as source connected with hdmi to iPad adapter.Comment
