Skytrak enclosure - who ordered one?

I ordered one the first day it was available in Canada and noticed that I was charged right away as opposed to on shipment - is this a typical practice? Also, has anyone heard if these are on track to be shipped out next week?

It is a plastic clamshell. You can go with two designs for protection. One would be to repel any impacts...i.e. heavier Ballistics type plastic. The other would be to absorb any impact...i.e. Crumple zones in cars. The Skytrak case is the latter. There is a small space (width of those foam circles) between the plastic of the case and the Skytrak monitor...and in theory will absorb and lessen the impact to the monitor...how much it will absorb I'm not willing to test lol.
If the case they sold was of the ballistic type...it would be worth the price. That being said I'm glad I got it along with the package discount....as it does seem to offer decent protection and its custom form/fit for the monitor is pretty good.

Mine arrived in Canada recently. Picking it up when I get back from vaca. I don't believe they are on back order.

Mine came in last week, took about 5 business days or so.
