When using the iPad Air 2 with skytrak, the iPad gets very hot and is a battery suck. It uses about 10-20% of the battery with a 20-30 minute range session. Is this to be expected since this might be a data intensive app? Or am I the only one?

Dim the screen down. I have same issues and also put small fan blowing on iPad and prop it up so the back is not flat on a surface. I've never had it over heat though. I also use a Lightning adapter for a tv. -
I don't go through nearly that much battery in that amount of time. I use the Lightning adapter as well for my projector. It gets warm, but nothing crazy.Comment
