Demo Units

Great info on this forum. I recently purchased a demo unit and have been using SkyTrak with my iphone6 in a hitting cage indoors. I was wondering if there is any difference in these units compared to a new unit. IE. older firmware. Has there been more thank one person who returned their unit for new and it now works?

Like many threads posted before I have readings that are pretty low for Irons. 7 iron seems to go 137 carry max when I usually go about 150 yds. with a normal swing This is carry distance I am not worried about total distance. I am a 7 hdcp so can play a little and have a good idea on iron carry distances. I have read sometimes people swing differently indoors and I have not been able to get to the range to test whether that is the case. Not ruling that out. Also I have leveled the unit and aligned. Side note weird the directions don't mention the alignment lasers I found it on par2par youtube.

I have read all 14 pages here on the skytrak so if I missed something in older posts I apologize. I didn't just post this without trying to do my homework.

I bought an exdemo unit. My 7iron nominally goes about 155-163yards carry, as I expect really. I have maxed out when i go at it to 180. I think it reads fine for me. This was down the range and appeared to be telling truth as best I can tell.

Also have demo unit only used at the range , seems very accurate there hopefully will be the same when I'm set up indoors

I'll be interested to know if your swing changes indoors.
