Guys,

We have just released v2.0 for iOS. I will address game improvement issues from the past in a different thread, so let's keep this conversation about v2.0 and any questions you may have with it. It looks like some of you who were testing the PC release had the Game Improvement Package, but it was not linked to your device. It was an easy enough fix, but I've had the SkyGolf team go ahead and search all users/subscriptions and take care of any remaining similar issues, so it should not be an issue moving forward.

I'm sorry I haven't been able to be on the forum this or last week, but there's been a lot going on behind the scenes. I will just say that this release was timed for the full release of WGT.

V2.0 RELEASE NOTES

- Added subscription/license requirements for Subscription Package features and Simulation partners
- Resolved Data Sync issues
- Added SkyTrak Hardware Battery Indicator
- Added “+/-“ fine-tune adjustments for Closest to Pin distance adjustment
- Added ability to save Session Settings (remains on last used)
- Average distance on the range is now for current club only
- Fixed Side Spin Average bug in Session History
- Added ABOUT screen in Profile – Displays software version, firmware version, and registration information (for now, this will only serve as a register device button)
- Users are automatically upgraded to hardware firmware version 1.35 for future putting functionality
- Various bug fixes/backend/server communications/licensing work

i.e. I want to check that the Skytrak firmware did automatically update

Is anyone else using the app on an iPhone 6s? I'm having all kinds of issues getting my Skytrak setup and registered. For one, I can't connect through Network Mode unless I turn off my WiFi security password. That's obviously something I'm not willing to do permanently. Also, when trying to register my unit through the app it gives me an error message of "User ID unavailable for registration". Has anyone experienced either of these issues? The app itself also has a weird screen flicker on the right side when I open up the settings. Not sure what that's about.

Do you have any special characters in your password? That's my guess. And you can't register until the unit is in network mode.

The screen flikr is an app issue. I get that on my iphone 6. Doesn't happen with an ipad, only iphone,

Yep, sure do. That probably explains that. I'll change my WiFi password to something without special characters. I was able to get it in Network Mode when I turned off the password, but still wasn't able to register the unit. It gave me the error message I mentioned. I was able to register my unit on the website is what's odd, just not on the app. It tells me I have 30 days to register it every time I sign on even though my online account shows my unit as registered on the SkyGolf website. I talked with customer support when I got back to work but she told me to try chat support when I got back home and had the Skytrak in front of me to aide in their troubleshooting. Thanks Seth, that solves the network mode issue with password most likely, and I'm sure I'll get the registration sorted out as well.

Yeah, once your data and account info syncs, it'll set that flag on the unit that it's been registered, so that message will go away. Glad it was that simple.

Ok. Good to know I'm not the only one. Might be something worth looking in to Seth. I got my other issues worked out with a little trial and error. Was pretty impressed with my first range session. My ball speed with a driver was down a little compared to my GC2, but that can probably be explained by my "indoor swing". I primarily used my GC2 outdoors. Interested to get my Skytrak outdoors and compare. Do think overall that driver distance is a hair short though as others have stated. I know that is being addressed. I had no problem calling the shot before the Skytrak displayed it and it would produce pretty much the exact ball flight I was expecting. Shot display time on an iPhone 6s is a non-issue for me, less than 2 seconds. Look forward to trying WGT.

Vincent_Vega , suggestion for you......either get a lightning to hdmi adapter or an apple TV (if you haven't already), it'll make playing and practicing that much better.

Thanks for the suggestion. I actually tried the Apple TV route last night (older 2nd generation model), but it was a bit too laggy for me during ball flight. I'm going to get a lighting/HDMI adaptor and do that instead.

I'm running a jailbroken ATV2 and my speeds are just about as quick as with the lightning to HDMI.

Has anyone seen the "oops" screen, and know how to get through it? I cannot get past this screen since the 2.0 update, and it simply tells me that a problem exists with license files.

I got a skytrak yesterday, with the Game Improvement Package. The software would not let me access any of the GIP features (challenges, stats etc). So I called tech-support, and they reset something. After the reset, next time I logged into the app, I got the Oops screen. Tech support guy said they are seeing that alot since last app version was released, and they plan on releasing an updated app next week to fix it....

So my brand new Skytrak was useless until an update. Not happy to have to wait for a software update..I ended up trying different connections (Direct Mode, Network Mode, several resets..some voodoo, some cursing etc), after a few connection resets, everything started working. The GIP was recognized and I could play the Challenges, WGT closest to pin stuff, E6 demo etc.

I had used the chat and called, but had no luck with finding out what I could do. Thanks for the info, and hopefully skytrak can release update soon. I tried everything but the cursing, don't need the three year old repeating all those words when mom gets home.

Anyone else can confirm an app update def coming out next week and if the update is v2.1 w the driver distance adjustment? If so then might be worthwhile to wait a week to avoid the bugs reported in v2.0.

Has anyone else had in the closest to pin mode not be the distance you set slider too. Mine changes 1 yard from where I set it when the game actually starts. Will set it to 114 and when game starts its 113. Not a big deal but it's just annoying.
