Yes, I agree too. I've hit off of many mats and after awhile my tendonitis starts to flare up. With the true strike I hit balls daily and don't have any flare up or pain.Originally posted by Dax View PostComment

Yes, I love this mat. It's still padded with a foam backing so it's not like hitting anything hard. Not like the driving range mats at a golf course that are hard as a rock. This is still very soft, but still feels more firm standing on it. The Monster Tee Turf I had was very thick and squishy standing on it. Highly recommend this mat because it's really nice and the price is great! Here's some pics of the mat closer up.

I have a fibrebuilt.com mat from Calgary Canada. Much better than your average mat at the range. I have a 5'x5' mat on either side of a 12" x5' piece of fairway mat. No sore wrists here.Comment

Very true, I shouldn't assume that he maybe had to pull out the foundation to increase the height of the room by 2 feet. OR better yet, he raised the trusses (which would of included a complete re-roof) to gain the 2 feet of height (assuming 8 foot ceilings pre-reno).

Wanted the mention the Rukket SPDR net. Big net with wings for the shanks. Best feature is how easily it folds down. No need to take the frame apart or remove the netting. It all just folds down. Since I setup my space in the living room, this net allows me to setup in a very short time. Very much recommend for those who don't have a dedicated space.

I'm actually still in the process of getting everything setup, as my SkyTrak just arrived this week. I do not plan to use a net behind the screen, although I will have some barrier netting on the top and sides. I have hit some golf balls into the mesh screen and it does a great job of stopping them thus far and there is little bounce back. The only downside is the screen gets a dent in it where you hit but goes away when you hit another spot. Probably just need to fasten it a little tighter to make that go away. When I purchased the screen, I spoke with a salesperson who said that it would last a couple years.
