Marking balls for ST?

Do I need to mark balls for ST?

Not required but they say it may improve accuracy if you have a logo/alignment mark face the unit

I only put markings towards the camera when I'm at the range using yellow balls.

At home, I use prov1's and don't worry about marking orientation.
