Just got my ST in. Having an issue? Any help?

So I just got my ST in and wanted to hit a few balls this afternoon. My true Strike mat doesn't arrive until tomorrow afternoon, so I'm just hitting a few PW shots off the carpet.

The skytrak is not tracking any shots, I am hitting off cream colored carpet. Could that be the issue?

Try moving the ball forward or backward of the red dot.

The carpet is probably a big problem. I even had trouble with a blue towel at one point.

I had to stop due to the fact I was tearing up the padding below the carpet! Ill give it another go once I get my mat tomorrow afternoon.

How many red dots (one or two), just do some light chipping.

I got two when I was in alignment mode and one when I was in regular mode. I was hitting with one dot.

Just making sure you weren't trying to hit balls while in alignment mode.

It was weird, it's started to finally register some shots but then I noticed I was killing the carpet! Hopefully it detects the ball better on a proper mat.

I got the True strike academy model. I'm left handed and all my buddies are right handed. Figured this would be the best mat to have for both dexteritys. Got it at pro putt systems, they shipped same day compared to a two week ship date from everyone else.

I'm a lefty too, that's a nice mat. I have the truestrke also, but cut out my opti and put in just the turf with the gel. I'll post a pic, also give you an idea what I did for switching between lefty/righty

Man what a struggle it is being a lefty! Tough when I go to a buddies house to hit off his GC2 sim when your the only lefty out of 4 guys hitting. lol

So I received my True strike mat in and set it up. ST is logging every shot amost to a T on my real game and GC2 shots. I'm impressed so far, I haven't hit driver or any woods so we will see.

Also, highly recommend the True strike mat, it's does replicate hitting off a fareway.!
