    Backspin Ok, Sidespin not

I was playing E6 earlier today, and had a pretty good round (83...I usually shoot 90+ in real life). It felt a bit unreal...hitting fairways and greens even on shots that didnt feel true.

A bit later I played another round, and was shooting even better. All my shots were straight...too straight. Alot were showing 0 side-spin, or maybe 100-200 rpm. I never hit dead straight shots...so something is not reading right.

The backspin number appears accurate (2000-3000 with driver, 7000+ with sand wedge).

What would cause backspin to measure correctly, but side-spin to be 0?

I have leveled the skytrak, its sitting on my hitting mat and has been working great until now.

I power cycled the unit, and same issue persists. I will try re-install of skytrak app tomorow.

Does re-installing the skytrak app on PC or Ipad actually do anything to the skytrak box? Is there a way to reset the skytrak itself?

WOW, this is the first complaint I've seen about a good round. I find E6 very accurate, never any issues with woods or irons, just of course the putting.

Does the side spin issue only occur during E6 play or are you also experiencing in Skytrak iPad app and/or Skytrak PC beta?

What happens when you purposely hit a huge slice or hook? Are you still getting minimal side spin?

I think I heard there is a way to hard reset the Skytrak. Don't recall where I heard that or how to do it. Not sure if pressing the power button for a period of time will do it or if there is one of those tiny holes where you stick a paper clip in to reset it. Maybe somebody else can chime in on that if they've done this.

Ok, I found out how to hard reset the Skytrak. Like I thought, on the bottom of your Skytrak in the middle big screw hole there is the tiny little button you need to press and hold. Use a paper clip. Try it with Skytrak being off. Then try it while Skytrak is powered on. Hold it for like 30 seconds and see if you get lights flashing differently indicating the device is resetting or something.

Let us know if that fixed the side spin issues.

I had mixed success with the ST sitting on the mat, it didn't seem to like the impact vibration causing a lot of misleads.
