    Thanks, Seth! Quick question:

You say "club head speed measurements," but it's really still "club head speed estimates," correct?

Very good catch. Yep, it's a calculation. I'll make the change.

Thanks. Not trying to be a d!ck, just clarifying. Hard to convey tone on a forum...

Not at all. I can tell when someone is trying to be a dick. I can also tell when they don't have to try

Good work. I look forward to having a play with it!

Just finished an hour session with it. Hit mostly my 16* Hybrid (40.5") as it's my "Driver" indoors - small ceiling height in the basement.
Initial impressions are good for me - 130-135 mph ball speed at 13-15* launch, 2500-3500 rpm is now getting around 210-217 Carry.
This is a good improvement from what I was getting before (around 200 prior)
Those numbers seem legit to me from on course experience.

Had to abort the login since the 'Sync' wasn't working and made the ball flight stutter a lot. After I logged out it was working.

Also, did the battery logo now get a neat little Swoosh - ala the skytrak logo?

Sweet! About the sync, when you are syncing from scratch, it takes awhile...mine takes over 5 minutes. Just let it finish the sync first and then it won't stutter your ball flight.

              Yep, I changed the indicator

I think there might be an issue in the newest release around the multi-player challenges on the SkyTrak app for IOS. I find that if I click on the "Leaderboard" icon while playing with more than one player there is no way to get out of the leaderboard (no x-out etc.) Anyone else finding this? If you just don't look at the leaderboard it's okay and when the board is shown at the end you can exit out... just locks you in during the game.

On my iPad, I see the grey X to the left of the battery indicator...what device are you on?

I have an IPad Air 2. If i click "Challenge" ---> "Closest To Pin" ---> "Multi-Player" --> and then select a distance and shots and press "Start Game". Once in the game, pressing the leaderboard button takes me to a board with no 'X'. I know the grey 'X' you are talking about because I do see it in the single player game for sure. Just not in Multi-Player.

Just finished a quick session with driver and 8-iron using the new version of iOS. My initial impressions are very positive. I seem to be able to get fairly typical numbers for my on-course distances without overswinging. I was comfortable enough with what I was seeing that I quickly transitioned to comparing different golf balls on speed, launch, spin, and carry distance. This is fun!

As soon as I am able to play Perfect Golf on the ST, I'll be a very happy ST owner.

So does this mean the perpetual "WAITING TO SYNC..." problem when changing from Network Mode to Direct Mode and then back to Network Mode is fixed in this release? Thanks.

Strange, I have not experienced any sync issues. One thing to note is that changing connection types mid-session (ie keeping the app open) works to change the unit mode, but there is no trigger to tell the software, "hey, now I need to sync again" That's why I want to add a manual sync option. But for now, it's best to hard-close the app and open it back up with the iPad connected to the internet. When the app sees that it has an internet connection on launch, that's when it knows it needs to sync.

Not for me it isn't. I was hoping that this new release would solve the issue...
I actually left the skytrak app open all last night on my ipad. Woke up this morning and still "waiting to sync".
When I first downloaded 2.1 then I got the 'data synced' message and had high hopes but since the initial download it's never synced.

Thanks. That's a bummer though. Wish they make this sync thing better or just don't bother w syncing at all - really frustrating when it does not work and slows down app =(

The first sync after the upgrade took almost an hour for me. The app showed "Checking license files" the whole time, but I don't think that's what it was doing. I've done quite a bit of server & client side syncing of this nature. You could hit 100 shots a day for a year and I think I could sync it in a about a minute. On the bright side, I have no more stutter drawing shots.

On a lighter note, I guess I had sync issues on Dec 9. Check out this driver session. I challenge anyone to replicate this:
