Question about TGC availability and delays

So, I read last night how the protee interface is what allows gc2 to use e6 or tgc.

Why is something like this not available for ST vs waiting on ST to develop the integration...which protee is obviously much better at?

Is it due to done prior agreement between the 2?

ST integration will not happen through the ProTee interface. ProTee has developed an beta integration program to work with ST. It has been tested and has been ready to go. What's being worked on now is the security measures around this integration program.

      Bubba,

I have a GC2 so this question is really just to clarify for others. When Skytrak talks about security, this really isn't security in the sense most people think which is usually associated with malicious code, hacking, etc. In this case, security is really a euphemism for anti-piracy measures, right? Or do I have this wrong?

The security is anti-piracy measures. All software with ST will hav this. In fact all simulators will have this measure. Some will use a dongle. Others a software security. The ST - TGC integration has been done snd bra tested a long time ago. It only needs minor tweaks before launch. ST have their payment model etc. that needs to be incorporated in this security measures. I can tell you that the actual game play with ST an TGC is fantastic. Once PG and E6 improve a few things like chipping, they will also be good options.
