So I have ran into this issue many times, where I am using my SkyTrak with my iPhone (still using a version of SkyTrak before 2.0) and it will work fine and then I hit a couple shots and nothing happens, the SkyTrak is showing all green lights, so then I'll go to my iPhone and quit my session and see in the home screen that the SkyTrak is no longer connected, and if I turn off the SkyTrak and back on, it will connect again and start working. However, I have no idea what causes this issue, it has started to happen more often recently where it just stays all green lights though the app will say it is disconnected and I have to turn off the SkyTrak off and on for it to start working again.

Yeah seen this happening to me recently as well. Will hard-resetting the unit (i.e., paper clip into bottom of unit) fix the problem?
And sorry to be a little bit off-topic here, but how often should we be hard-resetting the unit? Maybe SkyTrak_Seth can chime in on frequency we should be doing this to keep unit running smoothly? Thanks.

Happens often to me as well, it almost always happens when you flush the shot of the day and eagerly wait to see the flight path and carry.

Hmmm. Are you guys with the problem all on pre-v2.0 software? I have not seen or heard of this issue. Is there any chance another device (phone, iPad, Computer) could be grabbing onto the signal?
And FYI, all hard-resetting the unit does is revert it to direct mode and clear any network credentials you may have programmed to it.

I've had this happen as well. I've also seen a case where all three lights on the unit are green and there's no laser dot. That started happening, I think, with the last release. This thing worked better when I bought it a year ago (other than sync to skygolf, which I don't even care about).
