Is the ES14 a competitor to Skytrak?

On the homepage of ES there is a slideshow of their different products. In the image of the ES14 they make reference to range simulation capabilities which seem to be available for free with the ES14 app. If we can agree for the sake of avoiding argument that WGT Golf is a video game and not a true simulator it seems to me that the ES14 offers pretty much the same thing that the Skytrak currently offers. And, the price is about 1/4 that of Skytrak.

Am I missing something or is my thinking correct?

I dont think it measures launch angle and spin...so if you just want distance, you could go even cheaper and get a Voice Caddie SC100

The ES14 is nowhere near the same category as Skytrak. All it does is use radar to measure clubhead and ball speed. That it! It's not much different than the SC100.

I have both, I know what has been said about es14. I have attached a couple of screen shots comparing. This what I typically get with other monitors too. If you hit a near perfect shot ST will be right on so that is what I focus on . I strictly use it for practice.
