    Distance between unit and laser

Apologies if this has been answered already but what is the distance between the skytrak unit and the laser dot? Also if the unit was fixed to the ground in a normal right handed setup would it be feasible for left handed played to stand the other side of the unit and still hit their shot (so the skytrak would sit on the floor between the player and their ball)
    Many thanks

Don't remember the distance, but you can stand have the unit between you and the ball. Not sure how well it will work though when you get down to short chips since you stand much closer to the ball. I believe par2pro may have a video on this as well.

A couple of lefties here do exactly what you're saying when they play with right handed friends.

I'm right handed and my mate a lefty , I set the unit up so I swing with it between me and the ball with no issue at all reading shots from driver down to my SW , until I get to a shot less than around 50/60 yards and then it doesn't really pick them up for me as I think my shaft lean at impact with those shots interferes with the camera.
It does save a lot of moving it back and forth when playing challenges or just using the range.

11.5-12 inches from laser dot to unit is acceptable.
