I haven't read through all the posts but I was hoping there would be some kind of official announcement about ST and its SIM partners this weeks PGA show or have I missed something ?

You missed nothing. Same message since May of last year. It's 'coming soon'. It's quicker to build an OS than this integration nonsense we keep hearing about. I am in the software business and I've implemented and integrated 2 modules of SAP in the same time.. Bubba and the other beta testers have been adamant that the software has been ready for a long while.Comment

We just don't have enough reliable info from any source to know exactly where the hang-up is for each of the big three sim players: E6, PG, and TGC. I think that most of us are betting on the delays being on the SkyGolf side since they want to integrate the software with their security licenses and subscription plans, and it would also be an amazing coincidence if all three of the software shops were having delays that were taking the same amount of time to fix. We know that E6 has been around for quite a while, so I can't imagine they would have much tweaking to do to make the core program work with ST. (I have the E6 demo right now, so I know it wouldn't take too many fixes to make it a decent game for the ST.) On the other hand, I know from the PG website that they are still giving a "very soon" message about the commercial release of PG to all of their customers, who have been waiting impatiently for PG updates and the release of a finished product. Even though testers tell us that PG works with ST, the fact that PG hasn't even been released yet officially makes me worry that the delays will continue for a while yet. TGC has been around longer than PG, but I think that PG is a better golf sim - at least on the Steam PC versions I've tried out - so I'm sure there are a number of tweaks that could be done to TGC before release to make it a better sim option than it already is.
We hear from both ST and the sim developers that they all want to release the sim software asap. All I can say is JUST DO IT!!!Comment
