    Skytrak A+ rating

    For Durability! !!!!!!

So i have a friend over to hit balls on the range, play closest to the pin, wgt challenges and play some par 3 courses. He has a shot that requires his hybrid. He takes a swing a big swing. The problem was the shot went off the toe of the club and you guessed it right into my ST. The ST did a 360 and ended up 3 feet from its starting position. I held my breath picked it up and put it back in place. It was ready for the next shot didn't miss a beat. The downside it didn't read that shot. Maybe flightscope or trackman would have picked that shot up but I'm just glad Skytrak lived to see another day!

With the case. Worth every penny. I was afraid to look at it. A ball could easily hit the plastic lens in front of the camera. I don't know if that is impact resistant do you? Polycarbonate?

If your SkyTrak survived that toe hit then must be pretty impact resistant. Not sure what it's made of as I don't use that one - I use the heavy metal protector made by SkyTrak Japan which I had ordered and picked up before U.S. SkyTrak came out w their protective case.

Mine took a hit when my nephew toed a 7 iron into it , no protective case wasn't a huge impact but enough to knock the unit to the ground, I leapt up and headed swiftly across the room my nephew ducking and cowering thinking I was coming at him with my SLDR in hand. Unit was fine and no injured minors. - Now have a protective case
