Putting Distance for Image Capture

SkyTrak_Seth If the ball is placed directly on the laser dot, how much distance is used when capturing the image for putting? Reason i ask is I'm using a CCE drop in insert on my mat. When the ball starts to roll, it may sometimes hop or go offline when transitioning to the other surface and I'm wondering if it could cause a misread on direction or speed.

I would avoid having any changes in surface directly in front of the unit. Think in alignment mode, from dot to dot.

This is really concerning. I too have a CCE drop in - just bought it unfortunately. It's been great on my back, but I thought that the ball was only captured from about contact to the first foot. SkyTrak_Seth are you saying there are measurements at each dot?

Going from memory, but isn't dot to dot about a foot apart? This issue would happen with either this or gc2 if your ball is moving around because of significant irregularities in the surface.

No, the dots don't have anything to do with the measurements. I was just saying that was a rough safe area to not have any dip in the floor. Really just in front of the unit.
