Ordered a unit this week, and plan to start out with the GIP package on an older Dell laptop running Windows 7. I'm unsure from reading the threads mentioning connectivity issues whether any one method seems to consistently be preferable to another for connecting the SkyTrak to a computer and then the computer to the Internet while using the SkyTrak.
A few threads have suggested that USB port and/or cable issues sometimes were problems - any obvious problem specifics to look for, and did using a Wi-Fi connection resolve the concerns?
I'd be interested to know what has worked best for all of you.
