  • skytrak shot data on skygolf.com

Now that sync is actually working, perhaps it's time to mention some of the other issues with the skygolf Shot Data Timeline:
    • page load time is very slow (30 seconds + for me). I imagine there are folks with twice the lifetime shots that I have. This will continue to increase, especially with sync now working
    • it always loads ALL shot data. The start date for me is 12/26/2014 every time you reload the page, even if you change that date.
    • when you select "Show: Clubs", there's no date/time context. You can't really tell when any trend shown actually happened.
    • it would be nice to be able to delete individual shots or whole sessions from here. There are clearly examples of both that are completely wrong in my case (sync was broken, or wrong club selected, misreads).
    • I'd really like to be able to name a session on the Skytrak and have that name show up on skygolf (and be able to filter on that name). This would be a generic way to solve various requirements like:
      • multiple users of the Skytrak
      • testing indoors vs outdoors, different clubs, etc
      • club fitting

I can't get my end date to go past 1/4/16. Everything beyond that date is grayed out. Therefore I can't see any of my data beyond that point. Maybe it's not properly syncing and doesn't think there's any new data. Anyone have any experience with an issue like that.

dsailer, funny thing is I have data beyond 1/31/16 date (i.e., 2/27/16 and 2/29/16 after upgrading to v2.2.2) on the web site/server but not in History locally on app?

        @doublebogey,
I haven't really been looking at shot history on the app, but yea, that seems wrong/broken.

If it were up to me, I probably wouldn't have shot history on the app. Put the work into some nice charts & graphs on the web site. Make it mobil friendly and it could also display on any platform.

I'm currently working for a push to revamp. I couldn't agree more. Thanks for the feedback!

So any thoughts currently on sessions data being synced to cloud but not showing up in my Profile->History locally? I've been using range practice sessions with practice greens. Thanks.

Sorry got answer from another thread you've posted. So pls ignore above. Thanks.

I got that a long time ago in testing and realized that the screen was simply scrolled down, but haven't been able to reproduce it since.

EDIT - I was just able to reproduce it in practice after doing a few sessions with multiple greens and changing up clubs, but not in Profile History. I will continue to test tomorrow and see if I can pinpoint the issue. The blank history may have something to do with number of greens or number of clubs used. Thanks for pointing that out!

Ok. My 360 account still won't let me go past 1/4/16 in my sort dates. In the app itself, it just says the unit is syncing but never completes the sync. Any advice SkyTrak_Seth? Should I try uninstalling and reinstalling the app?

If you are using iPad, yes. I'm wondering if for some reason, the update is not trashing the old database and it's still corrupting it somehow.

I'm using the iPhone app. I'll reinstall tonight and report back.

SkyTrak_Seth Good news, Seth. Deleting the iPhone app and re-installing it fixed my issue. It now shows new sessions on my 360 interface. So anyone having issues with not being able to advance your sort date past a certain date on 360, doing the same should fix your issue as well.

Do you get sessions that used target greens (and green icon or icons under "GREEN PERFORMANCE&quot showing up locally under Profile->History? Thanks.

That actually just made me realize I have another issue. It says that I must upgrade to premium data when I click on history in the app itself. I paid the $100 fee for the improvement package or whatever it's called. Any thoughts here SkyTrak_Seth?

You must be connected to your SkyTrak unit in order to view History on the app - stupid I know...

That feature has actually never worked for me, I've checked it many times while connected during a practice session. I had just forgotten all about that issue until you asked me to check it. I've always just had to login to my 360 account on the website to see my session history.

Wow guess Seth will have to help you with that.

That being said, instead of History under app (stupid you need to connect to ST in order to view history coz I think your GIP license is stored on the unit itself - think they're afraid if stored under user login then people will just share login thus share GIP among many ST's), they should just revamp SkyGolf 360 website and app to make it easier for people to view their shot histories w/o having to connect to ST.

Yeah, I'm working to free up the 'unit must be connected' constraint to view the Profile History. Look for it in the next release. On the problem here though...you get that message even when the unit is connected to the app? With the unit connected, do you have access to challenges? Can you please PM me your serial number? Hey Seth. Correct, I still have access to all challenges, etc. I just get that message on the iOS app when I click history. Oddly enough, I don't have this issue on the PC app. I built my PC after this initial post and now am strictly using the PC only. So it's not an issue now. I will still PM you my serial number later just to make sure everything is as it should be. Thanks

BTW SkyTrak_Seth / Seth, I think I might have figured out a lead on why my sessions using target greens are not showing up under Profile->History in app but shows up in SkyGolf 360. I did a couple of sessions at range and sessions w target greens miraculously showed up in my Profile->History and there are green icons under Green Performance as well! But then I did another range session today using target greens, and like before, it does not show up in Profile->History in my iPad app (but shows up in SkyGolf 360). The only difference I can remember between the sessions that show up under Profile->History w Green Performance icons and the sessions that don't show up in Profile->History in app at all is the latter I manually deleted some shots during session (while I think the sessions that show up under History w Green Performance icons I don't think I deleted any shots). So deleting shots in a session causes that session to not show up under Profile->History in iPad or iPhone app?

I also deleted a couple shots on my sessions that did not sync.

The SkyTrak software upgrade supposedly fixed the errors in the pdf "session" file you can email to yourself at the end of a "session." Those values can be copied into a spreadsheet.
