Skytrak and TGC Tour can someone answer these quick questions?

Hi guys I've been reading all morning but still can't get a handle on how the Tour works.

Am I right to assume that you may not join until you finish Q School and establish a hdcp?
Also is everyone's handicap taken into account when competing?
Do I need to go register on myonlinegolftour.com or does TGC via Skytrak take care of that?
Are occasional mulligans permitted for misreads?
Lastly how would I make my nickname appear instead of my full real name on TGC events?

You can join whenver, you will just play at a 0 handicap if you dont already have one.

Yes. Soon each event will have both a handicap winner and a gross score winner.

Good question! I had 12 phantom shots in the last tournament and did not attempt to "rewind shot", nto sure if it would DQ me. So my first round was very bad!

Launch TGC, click PLAY, on the player selection screen, click the bottom tab "EDIT PLAYERS". From there you can change your name. You just need to do this once, and it will remember your saved name every time you play afterwards. Your name in TGC should match the name you register with at myonlinegolftour.com

Mulligans are allowed but are mainly there for ProTee sensor users I believe. Skytrak users should only use them if you are experiencing any of the phantom shots where your foot or club causes the unit to register a shot. Otherwise, no Skytrak or GC2 user should be having to use any mulligans.

Great so far played 3 rounds last night and halfway through the first Q School round. Learning the subtleties of putting on TGC which is kind of dragging down my score. +5 after 9 all due to three putts LOL
Hopefully I can dial in a handicap and I'll be able to make the Palmer Invitational.

Awesome. Putting takes a little getting used to it. You will have good days and bad days. Play with some ghost balls. Its really cool. Welcome to the Tour.
