PERFECT GOLF REMOTE KEYBOARD SCREEN: For iPAD

I wanted to share the remote keyboard screen I created with anyone that wants to use it. See screen shot attached.

The buttons are mapped to the keyboard to control Perfect Golf during game play.

Works with iPad (not sure if this app is available with Android)

How to:
- Download Air Keyboard app from Apple App Store ($2.99)-Definitely worth it!!!!
- Download software on your Windows PC or Mac from http://www.airkeyboardapp.com
- Connect App with your computer
- Open App and click on Design Layouts
- Click + button to add a layout from library
- Click Download from library
- Scroll way down to the bottom. My layout is named Perfect Golf
- Download Perfect Golf layout

Buttons Include:
Menu, Console, Score Card, Green Grid, Hole Map, Flyover, Zoom View, Change Views, Putting Aim View, Green View, Ten Pin, Spot Pin, Hide Golfer, Free Camera Mode, Up, Down, Left, Right, Enter, Save Screen Shot, Mulligan, Continue (post shot), Mouse Track Pad with left/right click.

Note: I have the Flyover mapped to the F key which is supposed to do a flyover. However on Steam the F flyover key was not working for me. Let me know if something else needs to be done for flyover to work.

Mulligan: I don't see a key to map for a mulligan. Please let me know if there is a key I can map for this.

On the after shot screen I see a mulligan and rehit button. Let me know if there are keystrokes for these.

Does anyone know of a Replay Shot button I can map.

It's hard to tell from the small picture but PG is pretty mouse dependent. You might want to include a trackpad (saw it in another version) if you don't have it already.

UPDATED AND NEW VERSION AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD

Changes include:
- Added a Mouse Touch Pad and left and right click mouse buttons
- Added a Mulligan button (working in PG beta)
- Added a Continue button (continue post shot screen)

Glad you like it! The Zoom should work. It works on my setup. However I did notice the Zoom doesn't work every once in awhile near the green. That would be a software issue not the button.

Does the zoom never work for you? Recommend going to your settings/controls in PG and click the Default button to set all keys to default. Then try the zoom. See what keyboard button it is and test on your keyboard. You could also open the Air Keyboard app and verify the Zoom button is mapped to the Zoom button shown in PG settings. Good luck!

This is compatible with Windows 10. That's what I am running. Make sure you have Air Keyboard setup correctly and connect to your PC. Open a text document and click buttons. See if it outputs the keystrokes. If you still have problems using Air Keyboard you may have a security setting blocking this program. Check any security programs and Windows Fiirewall and make sure this program is allowed access.

If I hit continue when the scoreboard is showing (after playing a hole) it does something really crazy. It takes me back to the place I putted from on the previous hole but it still shows me as playing the first shot of the next hole. For example if I hit continue after hole 1 then it takes me back to the hole 1 green but it says I'm hitting shot 1 on hole 2.

I added the Continue button, because I was told this button is mapped on the official release. So if it's doing what you are saying sounds like a bug they need to work out. Hopefully that gets resolved soon!

All the keyboard shortcuts are in PG. Just go to Settings and click the tabs. One of them shows all the keyboard buttons for use in PG. Click on Default. That's the button mapping I used in the Remote Keyboard.

I went to download the app on my windows 10 and it only supports up to windows 8. It wants me to download a later version of network framework I believe version 2.0. not sure how this will affect my computer so wanted to ask here first

The PG and TGC Air Keyboard app works fine on Windows 10 also. That is what I am using. Not sure which .NET Framework I have installed, but no issues with Windows 10.
