What is the shot lag time on a 1st gen. Ipad Air?

    What is the shot lag time on a 1st gen. Ipad Air?

    Looking at the least expensive way to get into an Ipad for my Skytrak (Craigslist). Ipad Air adequate? Vs, Ipad Air 2, or Mini 4 etc...

      In case anyone is curious I just bought an IPad Air 2, and the lag seems to be 3 to 4 seconds. Anything else would probably lag more.

          Has anyone tried the iPad pro? Is it any faster than the air 2

              I have the IPad Pro and the delay is about 3 seconds.

              I didn't have an air 2. But I've used my air 1, mini 2, mini 4, and now pro 9.7

              It's faster but honestly haven't paid attention to how much faster.....as I was more concerned about the lag between getting the green light between shots.... since the latest update. The pro renders shots faster but the lag between the shots doesn't seem to be anyfaster.
              I just did a test to see how fast the app launches....and the pro launches the app a couple seconds faster than the mini 4
              If I ever get to test the difference in exactly how much faster they render shots...I'll post back.
