    Skytrak wireless for TGC

    Hey guys,

Anybody know if I can connect my skytrak box in network mode while playing TGC

I can connect skytrak wireless but then only can use the skytrak app

For the golf club I have to connect cable to get connected to the interface

Thats how mine is setup...have always used wifi with TGC/PG and the Skytrak range.

Make sure you are not running both the skytrak app and TGC at the same time. I think that will cause issues.

Wifi seems to work better than USB. Keep it charging with the USB and keep it in network mode is your best option.

Maybe I'm missing something here but I'm unable to get TGC to work in Network Mode / Wireless. Can someone provide some step by step on how you guys do it?

        - Do you start Skytrak app first, let it connect that way and then open TGC?
        - What about the TGC Skytrak interface that wants to do via USB? Do you even use it then?
        - Is there a certain order to get it to work right? Skytrak app then TGC? Or vice versa?

        Thanks.

close the skytrack app and open the protee app.
          connect to box
          launch tgc (from protee app)

the surprising part to me here is that people are leaving the charger connected? i get red/green/green with the charger connected and the laser light never comes on to hit a shot. assumed i could not charge and use at the same time. is that false?

            I created a post here: http://golfsimulatorforum.com/forum/...ricks-and-help
to help troubleshoot wireless issues as well.

Mine is always connected to a charger (usb cable plugged into USB charger in a power strip, not to a USB port on the computer). Never had an issue with the charger while using skytrak.

Hmmm, well that is a bit of frustrating news. Hope I don't need a replacement. I'll test it more thoroughly tonight. Was definitely using the charger and not pc usb.

Thanks for the replies guys. I appear to fall off the rails when I use the Raposo software to connect the box. I get three lights and when I unplug the USB from the computer it doesn't fall back into network mode.

Thinman - when you say the protee app you're talking the one that's labeled TGC Simulator, right? I'm running Windows 10 as well if that even matters, thanks!

No, I am referring to the SkyTrak TGC Interface. It is a separate icon. It manages the connection between the SkyTrak and TGC. You launch it, connect to the SkyTrak and then launch TGC from it. It's pretty obvious what to click once you launch it.

Still no luck charging and using simultaneously. My laser light flickers, no shots register while connected to power. Disconnect and immediately starts to work. Made a quick little video I can upload later, but yeah...support ticket in my future and I'm guessing loss of the unit for some time.
