Skytrak with apple tv?

Sorry if this doesn't make sense but I'm not too savvy with apple products. I was wondering if instead of an iPad would you be able to connect the Skytrak to an apple tv and have it displayed on the tv? I have an Amazon fire tv box which I can download apps from the android market, so I'm just guessing that the apple tv box would be the same. If you could download the Skytrak app to apple tv and run it that would save me from having to buy an iPad

No. You need the iPad to process the shots, but you can then use AirPlay to mirror on your TV via Apple TV.

doublebogey is correct, but on a somewhat related note, I wonder if Skygolf has plans to release the Skytrak app on 4th gen Apple TV. Then you wouldn't need an iPad/iPhone. I only know a little about apps on Apple TV and I don't own a 4th gen, but it's an A8 processor and my phone is only an A7.

Yeah it would make a lot more sense to allow it to run on apple TV as it would be a cheaper alternative to an iPad and it would allow you to display it on a larger TV screen. I'm pretty sure the processor and whatever other hard ware can't be too far behind what an iPad has, but I could be wrong.
