Does SkyTrak IOS & Windows practice session data sync between the two apps?

  • Does SkyTrak IOS & Windows practice session data sync between the two apps?

    If I practice at the range using an iPad running the SkyTrak app, will the data be available in the SkyTrak for windows client?

    My impression is that SkyTrak is syncing with the cloud, so it seems like the practice session data could sync up from IOS to the cloud, then down from the cloud to the SkyTrak for Windows app.

    It would be convenient for me to be able to view the practice session data on my large windows screen instead of my small ipad screen...

    Yep! Just make sure you are logged in when you are doing your sessions. You can even wait to get home to sync it to the cloud from your iPad, but once it's up there, the next time you launch the pC app it will come down there too.

      This isn't working for me. I'm at hope with internet access, on the IOS SkyTrak app, I'm logged in, my History shows my practice session. My user tab says DATA SYNCED. I typed to access my account at SkyGolf360, but I don't see anything under My 360 > PRACTICE > SkyTrak.

      When I fire up SkyTrak for Windows, I'm logged in under same username on user tab, it says DATA SYNCED. But History is empty and I don't see practice data from my iPad.

      How do I sync iPad with the cloud? My iPad says data synced but I don't see anything in the cloud. My login is HarlanLau is you want to check my data.

          Guys, are you 100% sure you are using the same login for the app as for SkyGolf 360? It sounds like a dumb question but it happens a lot.

          Also, keep in mind that to sync data or save anything to your history, you must be logged in when doing your session.

            Yes on both counts. I raised this issue with support and they said it wasnt supposed to sync this way. Happy to send you screenshots if that would help in any way.

            My shots sync to the cloud (I can see them on the Skygolf site) but they never get pulled onto other devices...

              I just reread this, you mention skygolf 360. My data does sync to this; it doesn't sync between devices running the skytrak software.
              It definitely looks like it syncs to the cloud, but not back from it...

                I got your PM but I'll just respond here so everyone can see (just in case there is an issue). The app should definitely sync both up and down (so that it syncs all of your devices). Are you on v2.5.2/2.5.3? We are actually changing sync once again to cut time by 1/5 with v2.5.4. It's a totally different method so might be just as well to try that next week when it releases and see if it fixes your problem. I will still dig into it now though.

                  I can confirm that mine doesn't sync between devices either. It only syncs up to the cloud. As far as I know, it has never synced between IOS and Windows, so I just assumed that is how it was supposed to work. It would be nice if it did sync, that way I could sit on my couch and look at the full history (richer stats than on just skygolf), instead of having to go down to my PC in the basement, fire up the tv/projector and look at the stats.

                    Oh, well that actually might explain a few things...the good news is that things are going up. It'll be resolved (again) in v2.5.4.

                      Do you think that means the 2.5.3 historic data will pulled onto all devices, which would be fantastic?

                      ​​​​​​​Downloaded 2.5.4 for PC and looks like the sync worked perfectly. Now waiting on 2.5.4 for iPad to confirm sync issue is closed.
