I'm having issues connecting JNPG and Skytrak. And one other question

I have skytrak up and running, confirmed by a little chip with a regular golf ball. Yet I can't seem to connect skytrak to JNPG. It just tells me "Discovery Failed." I have no idea what to do, and I'm Any thoughts? I registered the skytrak, and bought the appropriate package for JNPG and skytrak, so that part's done. I read somewhere that it could be a port issue, but I don't know how to handle that. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm also waiting on my net, I guess in the next couple of days. The foam balls I got aren't being read by skytrak. Is there a brand out there that will work? I'm in a garage and I probably shouldn't dent the garage door while I wait.

I'm afraid I can't help with the connection issues, but I hope others can.

With respect to soft golf balls, I have had good luck with the Skytrak reading the white Almost Golf balls. Spin and distance are not identical to real balls, but I have my son use them for safety reasons when we play together.

Thanks. I got it working after a phone call to skytrak. Apparently you can't have skytrak open at the same time you try to connect JNPG. A simple solution was to get connected via skytrak pc app and then close it, then open JPNG. I looked for answers online and didn't run into this solution. I only wish either program would have been a little clearer, but alls well that ends well.

Sounds like you might not have your wireless network login installed into the skytrak hardware...I had to try several times. The skytrak should connect to your wireless network without opening the skytrak app. To get that, you connect skytrak to the app with the skytrak direct wireless, then attempt the network connect by entering you wireless network logon info into the app. Then the app is suppose to store the network login into the hardware. Then you are fixed and should not need the app any longer. However, if you skytrak is still not discoverable by JPNG, apparently, the login was not successfully stored in the hardware. Then there are the caveats: No spaces or special characters in your network name nor your passcode.
