How to buy a NEW Skytrak in Australia?

Does anyone know who i can go through to purchase a new Skytrak while living in Australia? I have just been chatting to the Skytrak Online Support people and they gave me an Australian contact, however after a quick google search, i found that the company is deregistered.

Has anyone in Australia been able to purchase a new one and have it sent to Australia?

Please dont post and say send to a friend, as i do not know anyone who lives in the states.

    thanks

Buy from a seller in the US. The only hassle is that it will cost a small fortune with the exchange rate and shipping costs.

I have one, but lucky enough to buy off someone in Australia who was selling it on eBay.

A friend in Canberra bought one from the USA.

Just remember to also include the cost of the Game Improvement package. Skytrak is not really nice to use without it.

The issues are that, being in Australia, you are better to use the laptop/PC version of the program, rather than the iPad. Simply because the software is not on the Australian AppStore.

You can still get it though, by signing up for a fake iTunes account with the Canada AppStore.

To get the game improvement pack and be able to pay for it, paypal or credit card, you need to provide a USA address. Again, just use a fake address like a hotel or something. The software is downloaded to the skytrak anyway. I have friends that live in the USA, so I used their address and now they get a free golf magazine subscription...lol.

Let me know if you need any more help.

Being an Aussie user of Skytrak, I've had to troubleshoot a lot of things that are particular to not living in the USA. But I have it all working.

I'd suggest though that you load the software on a laptop and get a big long USB cable that is data and power - make sure of that when you buy the cable. Otherwise skytrak won't work properly. I bought my cable from Jaycar.

YonexMan Thank you for the response. I may have lined myself up with one, as i have some people coming out from the states on business and they have confirmed they will bring it out for me if i purchase it and send it to their house. I am looking to buy the basic setup initially, and when i receive it, will purchase the additional GIP and TGC package to add on.

As for the USB, is this the one you were referring to? http://www.jaycar.com.au/usb-data-ex...cable/p/XC4839

Do you mind if i contact you if i have any issues setting it up?

      Thanks

Yeah, that USB cable looks the same as the one I have. I think mine might be an older model to that one.

If you have any hassles, just contact me.

Won't be any help with the TGC. I didn't bother with it. I think the yearly subscription, once converted to Aussie dollars is way too expensive for the amount of times I would use it?
