Skyrtak unit overcooking backspin rates

I haven't used my Skytrak much this season, but I am noting a new (to me) issue with the Skytrak range. I am getting many shots showing over 10,000 rpm on backspin - and this is with hybrids and woods. This has made practicing with Skytrak impossible, as this clearly incorrect backspin number blows up the shot.

I have not tested with the JNPG range to see if this is a Skytrak range only thing yet, will do so tomorrow. But it is a massive concern especially since my unit is now out of warranty!

I see this sometimes too (actually slightly more often than before). I just chalk it up as bad read (esp the 10k backspin ones). Don't know if just a small bug in latest software version and will be fixed in future version?

How often is it happening to you nowadays?

Did a same-day session with JPNG, did not see it happen once. Used same ball and clubs. On Skytrak yesterday alone I saw it happen multiple times, I would not be surprised if it was more than 10. For some reason my shot data has not uploaded to SkyGolf since April (yet it tracks the number of swings taken each day since then, weird).

I will be using JPNG exclusively f the time being, hitting on the SkyTrak range is a waste of my time until this is fixed.or

I occasionally see this with clubs I hit off a tee (driver, 3 wood). I suspect the tomahawk tees I use sometimes interferes with the camera or software. For me this happens once every 50-100 shots, so I am not too bothered by it. And it never occurs with irons.

Yeah agree must be the tee(s), and it doesn't happens w irons for me either.

I am hitting off the mat with this, no tees. Hybrids and fairway woods.

I hit more than 100 shots with my Bombtech 4 hybrid just the other day off the deck (CCE mat) and I did not get any wonky backspin numbers. My problem continues to be shot shape with Skytrak. I don't think it's very accurate in the woods/hybrids as compared to IRL for me.
